Online commerce
Add another way to pay without rebuilding checkout
Offer direct wallet payments alongside eligible provider-backed methods, then keep the order, payment status, and settlement record connected in XRPay.
Where the flow breaks
The operational problems behind the payment
- 01Payment costs rise as order volume grows
- 02Disputes make revenue less predictable
- 03A separate payment flow can break order reconciliation
- 04Settlement timing varies across payment methods
How money moves
Three steps from request to recorded outcome
- 01
Connect the sales channel
Use a hosted checkout, payment link, or supported commerce integration.
- 02
Show eligible payment methods
Customers see the wallet or provider-backed methods available for the checkout route.
- 03
Track payment and settlement
XRPay keeps the order attached to its confirmation status and destination.
Why it fits
Built around the work e-commerce stores already do
- 01
Keep order context
Payment records retain the customer, order, amount, currency, and channel needed for reconciliation.
- 02
Separate each payment route
Direct XRPL settlement and provider-backed funding remain distinguishable instead of being presented as one process.
- 03
Use the tools you need
Start with hosted checkout, then add invoicing, subscriptions, APIs, or channel integrations as the workflow grows.
Direct settlement
Know which route you are using
Direct XRP and RLUSD payments require a compatible wallet and typically confirm on the XRP Ledger in 3–5 seconds. They settle to the merchant destination configured for that payment.
Provider-backed routes
Availability and timing can change
Card, bank, mobile-money, conversion, and payout services depend on country, currency, verification, provider coverage, fees, limits, and processing time. XRPay shows the available route before confirmation.
Available tools
Use only what the workflow needs
Start with one payment surface and add adjacent commerce tools when the business process requires them.
- Online checkout
- Express pay button
- Payment links
- Subscriptions
- Invoicing
- Transaction exports
Questions
Details that affect setup
How do I add XRPay to Shopify or BigCommerce?
Setup depends on the platform. BigCommerce currently uses a merchant-authorized private or custom integration with API credentials, a storefront script, and hosted XRPay checkout; it is not publicly listed as a native payment gateway.
Will every customer need a crypto wallet?
Direct XRP or RLUSD payments require a compatible wallet. Card, bank, or mobile-money options may appear through available providers when the merchant, customer location, currency, and route are eligible.
How are refunds handled?
A direct XRPL refund is a separate outbound transaction initiated by the merchant. Provider-backed card or bank payments follow the selected provider's refund and dispute rules.
