Donations

Make digital-asset donations easier to receive and reconcile

Share a donation link or QR code, record the asset and fair market value at receipt, and keep conversion or payout activity separate from the original gift.

Where the flow breaks

The operational problems behind the payment

  1. 01Donation fees reduce the amount available for programs
  2. 02Wallet transfers can arrive without usable donor context
  3. 03Noncash gifts create additional recordkeeping obligations
  4. 04International donors may not share the same payment options

How money moves

Three steps from request to recorded outcome

  1. 01

    Publish the donation request

Share a payment link, social page, or QR code with the requested amount and currency.

  2. 02

    Record the contribution

XRPay stores the payment asset, timestamp, transaction reference, and fair market value.

  3. 03

    Choose what happens next

Keep the received asset or start a separate eligible conversion and payout route.

Why it fits

Built around the work nonprofits & charities already do

  1. 01

    Traceable receipt record

Connect the donor information supplied at checkout with the ledger transaction and value at receipt.

  2. 02

    Separate gift and payout

Preserve the original donation record even when the organization later converts or withdraws funds.

  3. 03

    Flexible collection points

Use a link online or a QR code at an event without building a custom donation form first.

Direct settlement

Know which route you are using

Direct XRP and RLUSD payments require a compatible wallet and typically confirm on the XRP Ledger in 3–5 seconds. They settle to the merchant destination configured for that payment.

Provider-backed routes

Availability and timing can change

Card, bank, mobile-money, conversion, and payout services depend on country, currency, verification, provider coverage, fees, limits, and processing time. XRPay shows the available route before confirmation.

Available tools

Use only what the workflow needs

Start with one payment surface and add adjacent commerce tools when the business process requires them.

  • Donation links
  • Social payment page
  • FMV records
  • Ledger transaction references
  • QR donations
  • Transaction exports

Questions

Details that affect setup

Are digital-asset donations tax-deductible in the United States?

They may be when made to a qualified organization. The donor's holding period, the contribution amount, documentation, and appraisal rules can affect the deduction. XRPay records transaction details but does not provide tax advice, an appraisal, or a substitute for the organization's required acknowledgment.

Can we convert donations to a bank balance?

Eligible organizations can start a separate conversion and payout route. Verification, supported countries and currencies, minimums, fees, and settlement time depend on the selected provider.

Create a donation page

Starter is $0 per month. The 0.5% platform transaction fee and any network, provider, conversion, FX, or payout costs depend on the route used.
